My point here, is that dating emails are an opportunity to make a first impression. I'm not a fan of the fishing net approach, where it's obvious you've either (a) been sent a form letter that has no indication that the sender read your profile, or (b) sends out a ton of small emails to a bunch of girls, hoping for a hit from one or two. It's far better to select only a few interesting people and craft specific emails for each of them, than to go for quantity and end up in the deleted email folder.
